It brings all pins out to a convenient 3-way header area, enabling you to utilise the standard GVS (Ground, Volts, Signal) system commonly required by many sensors and servos. This makes connecting external components straightforward and organised.
A standout feature of this breakout board is its versatile edge connector, which is wired so that the micro:bit can be inserted either way round depending on the specific needs of your application. Furthermore, it replicates the micro:bit pins, meaning the unit can be plugged directly into most micro:bit accessories with ease.
Assembly Notes
Please note that header pins are included but are not soldered in upon purchase. Soldering is required to use the headers, or alternatively, you can wire directly to the pads on the PCB if soldering is not preferred. This offers flexibility depending on your project requirements and skill level.
