The Bit:Bot PRO is an intelligent, fully-assembled robot designed for the micro:bit, providing a fantastic and hands-on introduction to the worlds of robotics and coding. Its onboard processor and advanced hall effect sensors on each wheel enable remarkably precise and accurate movement, a significant upgrade from previous models.

Built on the same robust outline and dimensions as the popular XL version, the PRO model offers enhanced versatility with more mounting points for your own DIY accessories and customisations. Programming is made simple and accessible through the newly updated Makecode extension, which supports all the robot's advanced features and maintains backwards compatibility with all Bit:Bot versions (Classic, XL, and PRO).

• Precise Movement: Features two intelligent motors with integrated wheel sensors, delivering 100 pulses per centimetre for exceptional accuracy in navigation and coding projects.
• Advanced Sensing: Equipped with three analogue/digital line-following sensors with adjustable detection points and two analogue light sensors, allowing the Bit:Bot to be programmed to track lines or follow a light source.
• Programmable Lighting: Includes 12 fully programmable Smart RGB FireLeds (six along each arm) for creating dazzling light displays and visual feedback.
• Audio Output: Comes with a miniature speaker for adjustable volume and tone, a directly controlled buzzer, and music blocks for playing tunes and sound effects.
• Expandable Design: A multifunction expansion connector at the front supports various additional sensors, while dedicated interfaces are provided for two servos, I2C, and numerous micro:bit pins.
• Practical Extras: A pen holder is fitted as standard for drawing activities, and an integrated 3x AA battery holder with a convenient on/off switch powers the unit (batteries not included).
