This 1-channel high-speed Diode-Transistor Optocoupler utilises an insulating layer between an LED and an integrated photo-detector to provide electrical insulation between the input and output. Separate connections for the photodiode bias and output-transistor collector increase the speed up to a hundred times that of a conventional phototransistor coupler by reducing the base-collector capacitance. It provides increased common mode transient immunity of 15kV/ms minimum at 1500V guaranteed, offering enhanced performance over similar standard optocouplers.
Delivering a high data transfer rate of 1Mbps, this optocoupler is TTL compatible and features an open-collector output. It guarantees consistent performance across a wide temperature range from 0 to 100°C.
