Compact Broadcom SSR for AC/DC switching. 60V, 200mA load, 3.75kV isolation. Ideal for industrial, medical & comms applications.
The Broadcom ASSR-1228-302E is a highly reliable, 1-pole solid-state relay (SSR) designed for precise, low-power switching applications. Constructed using an AlGaAs infrared light-emitting diode (LED) input stage optically coupled to a high-voltage output detector, it provides excellent electrical isolation and noise immunity. The detector incorporates a high-speed photovoltaic diode array and driver circuitry to control two discrete high-voltage MOSFETs, ensuring fast and efficient switching.
This relay activates (contact closes) with a minimal input current of just 3mA through its input LED and deactivates (contact opens) when the input voltage drops to 0.8V or less. Its solid-state design offers significant advantages over traditional electromechanical relays, including silent operation, no contact bounce, vastly longer operational life, and high resistance to shock and vibration.
Key Features & Benefits
