The DFROBOT Fermion Monochrome 0.91” I2C OLED Display Breakout is a compact and efficient display module designed for a wide range of electronic projects. Utilising the SSD1306 driver chip, this breakout features 128x32 self-illuminating white pixels that deliver a high-contrast visual output with a typical brightness of 180 cd/m². The module employs an I2C communication interface and internal power-on reset processing for straightforward integration.
One of the standout features of this display is its back chip-mounting pad design, which makes soldering more convenient and simplifies your wiring. The ultra-narrow PCB measures just 41 x 12mm, providing the flexibility to fit into space-constrained applications. It offers low power consumption, drawing approximately 25mA with the full screen lit (at both 3.3V and 5V) and just 2mA when the screen is off.
This OLED display is fully compatible with popular development boards, including Arduino UNO, Leonardo, ESP32/ESP8266, and FireBeetle-M0. It is perfectly suited for creating wearable display devices, mini game consoles, and desktop widgets.
