Analogue ECG heart rate sensor for Arduino. AD8232 chip for clear signal. Plug-and-play Gravity interface. Ideal for education and IoT.
The DFRobot Gravity Analogue ECG Heart Rate Monitor Sensor is an electronic module designed for use with Arduino projects. It measures the electrical activity of the heart and monitors heart rate by outputting an analogue reading that can be charted and visualised. The sensor is ideal for educational and hobbyist applications in embedded electronics and IoT development.
Genuine ECG signals are often noisy, so this board includes an AD8232 chip that conditions the signal, delivering a clean output from the PR and QT intervals. By using the Arduino IDE Serial Plotter feature, you can view the plotted ECG output on a PC, making it easy to understand the waveform.
The sensor features a plug-and-play 3-pin Gravity interface, which simplifies wiring and integration with Arduino-compatible boards. It operates on an input voltage of 3.3 to 6V (5V recommended) and provides a 0 to 3.3V analogue output.
