The DFRobot MAX98357 I2S Digital Amplifier Module is a compact 5V audio amplifier that can output over 2.5W into a 4Ω speaker. Based on the MAX98357A Class D amplifier from Analog Devices, it is designed for microcontroller-based projects and is well suited to microcontrollers with I2S audio outputs, such as the ESP32. This allows digital audio to be integrated into a wide range of electronic applications.
