The DURAKOOL Automotive Relay is an industry-standard, general-purpose plug-in relay designed for automotive and electric vehicle (EV) applications. Engineered for reliability, it is perfectly suited for managing DC motor control, vehicle lighting, heated windows, sunroof motors, and vehicle alarm systems.
Featuring a robust SPDT (1 Form C) contact arrangement with Silver Tin Oxide (AgSnO2) contact material, this relay ensures excellent electrical conductivity and durability. It operates on a 12V DC nominal voltage with a coil resistance of 90 ohms (±10%). The relay offers a resistive contact rating of 40A/30A at 14V DC and 20A/15A at 24V DC, alongside a maximum inrush switching current of 120A/45A. With a rated power of 630W, an operate time of 7ms, and a release time of 5ms, it delivers efficient and responsive performance.
Built to withstand demanding environments, the relay includes a dust cover providing IP54 environmental protection and operates within a wide ambient temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
