The EUROPA Thermal Overload Relay TR2-D is a robust protection device designed to safeguard motors against overload and phase failure. It complies with major international standards including IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-4-1, NFC 63-650, VDE 0660 and BS 4941, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
This relay offers a current setting range of 2.5-4A and a tripping class of 10, providing precise overload protection. It features a tripping threshold of 1.14 ± 0.06 ln and sensitivity to phase failure, tripping at 25% above the set current (In), which helps prevent motor damage due to single-phasing. The relay also provides VDE 0106 protection against finger contact (IP2x) and is designed to withstand high voltage stresses, with dielectric strength of 6kV and impulse withstand voltage of 6kV.
The compact design fits easily into control panels, with dimensions of 43mm height, 33mm width and 15mm depth, and it weighs just 184 grams. Its operating voltage is rated at 690V insulation and 600V operational, with a frequency limit of 400Hz.
