Extech LT Series Light Meter, 400,000 Lux

The Extech LT Series Light Meter is a light meter with a maximum measuring range of 400,000 Lux (20,000 Foot-candles) for measuring light intensity across a wide range of applications. It offers a high resolution of 0.01 Lux / 0.01 Fc for detailed lighting assessments.

Overview

The Extech LT Series Light Meter is suited to workplace safety inspections, photography studio setups, and horticultural lighting analysis. A remote light sensor on a 12-inch (305 mm) coiled cable allows placement in hard-to-reach areas, and the cable can be extended to 24 inches (609 mm). The sensor uses a precision photodiode and a colour correction filter to provide cosine and colour-corrected measurements across different light sources and angles.

Key Features

• Relative Mode indicates changes in light levels from a baseline, which is useful for comparing illumination before and after adjustments
• Peak Mode captures and holds the highest reading during a measurement session
• MIN/MAX function automatically stores the maximum and minimum readings
• Data Hold function freezes a reading on the display for easy recording
• Large LCD display with an analogue bar graph for quick trend visualisation
• Built-in backlight for readability in low-light conditions and dimly lit environments
