The Extech LT300 Light Meter is a pocket-sized, autoranging instrument designed for precise light intensity measurements up to 400,000 lux (40,000 foot-candles), with a high resolution of 0.1 lux (0.01 Fc). This versatile meter is ideal for indoor lighting tests and for verifying security and safety illumination in areas such as parking garages, nighttime ATM zones, stairwells, landings, and hallways.

Featuring a wide range foot-candle/lux measurement capability, the device includes a zero/calibration function for accurate readings, data hold and min/max functions for convenient data logging, and an auto power off feature that can be disabled for extended monitoring. A tripod mount allows for hands-free operation (optional Extech TR100 tripod sold separately).
