A key advantage is the simple pre-installation; the plug's snap function securely holds it in the drill hole, preventing it from falling into the cavity even before the screw is inserted. This feature, combined with a short toggle element, makes installation in narrow and insulated cavities straightforward. The toggle automatically folds behind the panel upon tightening, providing a reliable grip. Crucially, there is no need to cut the plasterboard, which means the material's inherent strength is not compromised.

Constructed from glass fibre-reinforced plastics with a metal skeleton insert, these fixings are engineered to handle significant tensile and transverse loads. The flexible stainless steel screw seat is a versatile feature, allowing the use of not only the supplied screws but also wood screws, chipboard screws, metric hooks, and threaded rods with lock nuts. A soft grey nylon contact surface helps distribute the load evenly across the panel, further minimising any weakening of the supporting material.

For added convenience, the grip strap includes a scale for easily determining the correct screw length (scale value + 20mm). Each pack contains 10 Duotec fixings and 10 perfectly matched 5mm x 60mm PZ2 countersunk screws, providing a complete solution for your fixing needs.
