Fiskars X28 Splitting Axe with Sharpener, 710mm

The Fiskars Splitting Axe and Sharpener Set combines the X28 Splitting Axe with a sharpener, offering a complete solution for efficient log splitting. The medium-sized blade is ideal for splitting logs of 20–30cm in diameter, while the wider blade and splitting wedge increase power and ease blade removal from wood.

The axe features a double-hardened, forged steel blade with proprietary grinding for a sharper edge and cleaner cuts. A low-friction blade coating reduces friction and protects against rust. The axe head is safely undetachable from the shaft, and the ultralight FiberComp™ shaft is virtually unbreakable with superior overstrike protection.

Its perfect weight balance provides more power at impact, and the oversized SoftGrip™ grip zone with strategic texturing ensures comfort and control. A hooked handle end adds security in hand. The set includes a sheath for blade and user protection.

Designed in Billnäs, Finland, this tool continues over three centuries of forged-tool excellence. The 710mm length suits medium-sized log splitting tasks. The included sharpener helps maintain the blade's edge, ensuring the axe remains in peak condition.
