The FTDI FT810Q-T is an advanced Embedded Video Engine, designed as an easy-to-use graphic controller for embedded applications requiring high-quality Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). It generates impressive, high-resolution graphics and smooth video playback, integrating graphic, audio, and touch control functionality into a single, powerful device.

Its built-in graphics operations enable users with limited expertise to create professional displays quickly. The device includes a 12MHz crystal oscillator with a PLL, delivering a programmable system clock of up to 60MHz. It supports clock switching between internal and external sources, with an external 12MHz crystal or clock input option for enhanced accuracy.

Video output is provided via a parallel RGB interface, configurable to support pixel clocks up to 60MHz and colour depth of 1 to 8 bits per channel. Programmable timing controls for HSYNC and VSYNC allow interfacing with a wide variety of displays.
