The Grove ADXL345 is a compact, ultra-low-power 3-axis accelerometer that delivers high-resolution (13-bit) measurement up to ±16 g. It is ideally suited for mobile device applications, tilt-sensing, and motion detection. With a resolution of 3.9 mg/LSB, it can measure inclination changes of less than 1.0°, making it perfect for precision tilt applications.
This accelerometer consumes as little as 23 μA in measurement mode and only 0.1 μA in standby mode, enabling intelligent, motion-based power management for battery-operated projects. Its low-power modes allow threshold sensing and active measurement with minimal power dissipation.
The board features a built-in 4-pin Grove interface (3-5VDC) for plug-and-play connectivity with Arduino and Seeeduino boards, making it easy to integrate into your projects. It operates over a wide voltage range of DC3V to 5V and is housed in a compact, low-profile 14-terminal LGA package.
