The Honeywell 24PC Series Pressure Sensor delivers a compact, high-value sensing solution designed for use with printed circuit boards (PCBs). Building on the proven reliability and accuracy of the 24PC family, this surface mount (SMT) variant offers a reduced footprint, allowing for smaller PCB designs and lower installation costs. Its true SMT capability ensures seamless integration with other surface mount components, eliminating secondary operations and streamlining the manufacturing process.

This sensor features Wheatstone bridge construction and silicon piezoresistive technology, providing a ratiometric output for excellent application flexibility and design simplicity. It supports gage, vacuum gage, differential gage, and wet/wet differential sensing, making it suitable for a wide range of media, including gases and liquids. The sensor’s proven elastomeric interconnections and temperature compensation ensure reliable performance across diverse conditions.

Designed with practicality in mind, the sensor includes alignment pins for positional accuracy, a 3.18mm (0.125”) diameter pick-up feature for automated assembly, and a maximum peak reflow temperature of 260°C (500°F). Its simple five-component construction enhances durability and ease of manufacture. Although originally developed for the medical industry, this pressure sensor can be applied in almost any application, including instrumentation and industrial settings.
