This innovative device combines a pair of gold-plated tweezers with a digital adaptive LED tester, creating a compact, lightweight, battery-powered instrument.

Surface mount devices are often more difficult to test and identify than conventional components due to their miniature size. This tester provides users with a straightforward method to test and verify various types of LEDs, including those already placed on circuit boards. The probe can also be used effectively to test through-hole LEDs.

A standout feature is the automatic LED polarity detection, which utilises a safe adaptive test algorithm. After detecting the polarity, the tester lights the LED at the preset test current value and set current pulse duration.
