The IP54 Eddystone Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure is a rugged and reliable solution designed for electronic instruments. Constructed from diecast aluminium alloy, it offers a tough exterior while remaining easy to machine, making it ideal for custom modifications. This enclosure is manufactured from aluminium alloy to BS1490, LM2M standard and is supplied in a natural, unfinished state.
Featuring a precision lap joint construction, the enclosure provides robust protection against the ingress of dust and splashing water, successfully achieving an IP54 rating. Furthermore, it delivers excellent EMC performance, ensuring superior EMI and RF shielding for your sensitive internal components.
Designed with practicality in mind, the enclosure includes a low side wall draft angle of 2 degrees or less, facilitating easy P.C. board mounting. The lids are securely retained by M3.5 x 12 countersunk screws, and the countersunk lid holes ensure a smooth, flush finish. Weighing 245 grams, this configurable EMI/RFI box is a versatile choice for securely housing electronics.
