ISOCOM 6-pin DIP optocoupler with 5.3kV isolation. Ideal for industrial control, motor drives & noise-immune signal transmission.
The ISOCOM MOC8102X is a high-performance 6-pin, 1-channel optocoupler, designed to provide reliable electrical isolation and signal transmission in demanding electronic circuits. It consists of an infrared light-emitting diode (IRED) optically coupled to an NPN silicon phototransistor. A key feature is its non-base lead configuration, where the transistor's base pin is left unconnected. This design offers improved noise immunity, making the component exceptionally suitable for use in high electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments where signal integrity is paramount.
With a high isolation voltage of 5.3kV, it ensures safe signal transmission between circuits of different potentials, effectively preventing ground loops and protecting sensitive control circuitry from voltage spikes or transients. The component is housed in a standard DIP (Dual In-line Package), making it easy to handle and suitable for through-hole PCB assembly.
