The Keene Electronics IR Anywhere IP & RS232 Module (KIRARS232) is a versatile device designed to transmit IR commands over local IP networks or the internet, with additional RS232 control support. This module can function as an IR receiver, converting received signals into packet data and sending it to a predefined IP address—typically another IR Anywhere module—which then decodes the data and re-transmits the original IR signal.
