The Knipex VDE Electronic Super Knips® is engineered for ultra-fine cutting tasks in electronics and precision mechanics, featuring ground, razor-sharp cutting edges without bevel for optimal performance. With a cutting edge hardness of approximately 54 HRC, these precision cutters can cleanly snip wires as thin as Ø 0.2mm close to surfaces. The innovative controlled micro cutting edge misalignment ensures the most accurate cuts on even the thinnest wires while enhancing tool longevity.
Designed for safety and comfort, these cutters are fitted with multi-component grips and are VDE tested up to 10,000V, making them safe for use on live circuits up to 1,000V. They comply with the stringent DIN EN / IEC 60900 standard. A stainless steel rivet joint provides exceptionally smooth operation, minimising operator fatigue during extended use. Additionally, the tool includes an opening spring and an opening limiter for added convenience.
