Loctite® 542 is a medium-strength thread sealant specifically engineered for locking and sealing metal pipes, fittings, and other close-fitting cylindrical metal assemblies. It cures in the absence of air when confined between metal surfaces, creating a durable, permanent seal that prevents loosening and leakage caused by shock, vibration, and pressure fluctuations.

Its unique thixotropic formulation minimises product migration after application, ensuring the sealant stays precisely where it's needed, even on vertical surfaces or fine threads.
