The Microchip Serial EEPROM is a 256 Kbit memory device capable of operation across a broad voltage range, from 1.7V to 5.5V. It has been specifically developed for advanced, low-power applications such as personal communications and data acquisition.

This device features a page write capability of up to 64 bytes of data and is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 256K boundary. Functional address lines allow up to eight devices to operate on the same bus, providing an address space of up to 2 Mbit.
