The Microchip Fixed LDO Voltage Regulator is a high-accuracy CMOS linear regulator designed specifically for battery-operated systems. Its advanced CMOS construction eliminates wasted ground current, significantly extending battery life compared to traditional bipolar regulators. The total supply current is typically 50µA at full load, making it highly efficient for portable applications.
Key features of this device include ultra-low-noise operation, fast response to step changes in load, and a very low-dropout voltage of typically 270mV at full load.
