The MONKMAKES Illuminata LED Module provides a simple kit-based solution for adding a high-brightness LED to your microcontroller projects. Designed for ease of use, it connects directly to popular development boards such as Raspberry Pi, Pico, Arduino, and ESP32, making it an excellent choice for makers, educators, and electronics hobbyists.
Operating within a voltage range of 3V to 6V, with a preferred 5V input, the module offers flexible power options. An integrated MOSFET on board allows for precise control via PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for dimming or simple on/off switching, giving you full command over the light output.
For quick prototyping, the module comes with pre-soldered, breadboard-friendly pin headers clearly labelled GND, Control, and +V. The aluminium PCB not only provides efficient heat dissipation for the LED but also includes M2.5 mounting holes for secure installation in your final projects.
A laser-cut diffuser is included to soften and spread the light, creating a more professional finish. Please note, superglue is recommended to attach the diffuser but is not supplied with the kit.
