The Multicomp Pro MCDHN-08F-T-V is a compact, half-pitch, 8-way DIP switch designed for reliable circuit configuration in high-density electronic assemblies. Featuring a top tape seal, this switch offers protection against contaminants during the reflow soldering process and subsequent operation, making it an ideal choice for automated SMD production lines.

Its construction utilises a robust black high-temperature thermoplastic nylon base and cover, paired with a white high-temperature thermoplastic LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) slide actuator. This material selection ensures excellent dimensional stability and performance across a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The switch employs a Single Pole, Single Throw (SPST) contact configuration with a switching capacity of 25mA at 24V DC.

Engineered for durability and consistent electrical performance, the switch boasts gold-plated copper alloy contacts and gold-plated brass terminals, ensuring low contact resistance and reliable signal integrity.
