Multicomp Pro AC/DC Clamp Meter 400A 28mm Jaw 600V

The Multicomp Pro AC/DC Clamp Meter is a 400A clamp meter with true RMS measurement, designed for safe and reliable electrical testing on live circuits. It measures AC current up to 400A and AC/DC voltage up to 600V, with a 28 mm jaw opening for clamping around standard-sized cables and conductors.

Overview

Engineered to comply with EN61010-1 CAT II 600V / CAT III 300V safety standards, this compact instrument offers full-featured protection for technicians and engineers working on live circuits. The 4000-count digital display provides clear readings, while auto-ranging and data hold simplify operation. Supplied complete with test leads and batteries, it is ready for immediate use.

Key Features

• True RMS Measurement: Measures the true root mean square value of non-linear AC waveforms, including those containing harmonics.
• Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection: Includes an audio-visual NCV detector for identifying live wires without direct contact.
• DMM Functions: Performs continuity tests, diode checks and resistance measurements up to 40MΩ.
• Operational Modes: MAX/MIN recording, auto power-off and a low battery indicator.
• Frequency Range: Measures frequency from 10Hz to 10kHz, useful for variable frequency drive (VFD) and inverter diagnostics.

Applications

Suitable for industrial, commercial and domestic electrical testing, as well as on-site diagnostics for electricians, maintenance engineers and DIY enthusiasts.
