The Multicomp Pro Thermocouple Type K is a temperature sensor constructed from Nickel-Chromium and Nickel-Alumel. Designed to offer a wide temperature range from -200°C to 1350°C, it is well-suited for demanding environments, including nuclear applications, due to its relative radiation hardness. The maximum continuous temperature rating for this thermocouple is approximately 1300°C.
This sensor features a robust design with a 2-metre cable equipped with a metal braid jacket, boasting an outer diameter of 1.8 × 3.0 mm. The metal probe is crafted from SUS304 stainless steel, measuring 3.2 mm in diameter and 200 mm in length. The sensor body is composed of metal, and the thermocouple wiring is fully shielded to protect against signal interference.
Connection Details
The terminals are manufactured from copper with a tin-plated surface treatment for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance. The terminal thickness measures 0.7 mm.
