Multicomp Pro Type K Thermocouple, 2m wire, -200°C to 1350°C sensing range, shielded with Teflon FEP jacket. Ideal for industrial automation.
The Multicomp Pro Type K Thermocouple is a temperature sensor constructed from Nickel-Chromium and Nickel-Alumel materials. Known for its relative radiation hardness, it is frequently selected for nuclear applications and environments where radiation resistance is required.
This thermocouple features a robust wire design with a blue Teflon FEP jacket, providing a wire length of 2 metres. The sensor is equipped with a Type K (2P) plug with a yellow Nylon 66 housing, featuring a NI-CR pin for the positive connection and a NI-AL pin for the negative connection. The wire is shielded for added protection and performance stability in demanding conditions.
With a sensing temperature range from -200°C up to 1350°C, this sensor is highly versatile. Please note that the maximum continuous temperature is around 1300°C, while the maximum temperature for the Teflon FEP wire jacket itself is rated at 200°C. This thermocouple is well-suited for a variety of applications, including industrial automation control, environmental monitoring, thermal management, and test instrumentation.
