Multicomp Pro 10 ohm, 3W wirewound flame proof resistor with 5% tolerance. Non-inductive, AEC-Q200 qualified for reliable circuits.
The Multicomp Pro MCKNP series is a robust wirewound resistor designed for reliable performance in demanding electrical applications. Its construction features a rod-type ceramic body with tin-plated iron surface steel end caps, ensuring excellent durability and consistent electrical contact. The through-hole fixed resistor utilises annealed copper wire, coated with tin lead, and is fully insulated with a non-flame paint coating for added safety and protection.
A key feature of this resistor is its non-inductive winding design, which minimises unwanted inductance in high-frequency or pulse applications, making it suitable for a wider range of circuits. It also boasts excellent flame resistance, a critical safety characteristic that helps prevent the spread of fire in the event of an overload.
This component is engineered for stability, with a specified ambient operating temperature of up to 70°C. It is constructed to allow for secure mechanical joining via welding, and its design ensures there is no evidence of flaming or arcing under normal operating conditions. The terminal leads are designed for reliable mounting; they can be bent 90° approximately 6mm from the resistor body and withstand rotation stress tests.
