The NXP single-port uncompensated silicon pressure sensor is designed for environmental control systems and level indicators. Utilising a silicon piezoresistive design, it provides a linear voltage output directly proportional to the applied pressure, ensuring reliable readings for your applications.
This standard uncompensated sensor permits manufacturers to design and integrate their own external temperature compensation and signal conditioning networks. Compensation techniques are simplified due to the predictability of NXP's single-element strain gauge design. It features a patented silicon shear stress strain gauge design and is ratiometric to the supply voltage.
Available in a gauge configuration, this sensor operates within a pressure range of 0kPa to 10kPa, with a sensitivity of 3.5mV/kPa. It supports a supply voltage range of 3V to 6V and features a single axial barbed pressure port suitable for air media. The device comes in a SIP case style with 4 pins, designed for through-hole mounting.
With compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, and a lightweight design of just 3.402 grams, it is suitable for space-constrained installations. It operates reliably across a broad temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
