The ONSEMI Dual Rail-to-Rail Operational Amplifier is a versatile, high-performance IC designed for low-voltage, single-supply operation from 1.8V to 12V. Its defining feature is its Rail-to-Rail Input and Output (RRIO) capability, meaning the input voltage range includes both supply rails and the output voltage swings to within 50mV of each rail. This makes it exceptionally well-suited for maximising dynamic range in battery-powered and space-constrained designs where every volt counts.
With a gain bandwidth product of 2.2MHz and a typical slew rate of 1V/µs, this dual op-amp offers a balanced performance for a wide array of general-purpose analogue signal conditioning tasks. It combines this speed with efficient power consumption, drawing a typical supply current of just 0.9mA per amplifier. Despite its low power draw, it delivers a robust output drive capability of 80mA typical short-circuit current and can drive loads as low as 600Ω, providing useful current for directly interfacing with other circuit components.
