ONSEMI micropower LDO fixed voltage regulator with 5V output and 100mA max current in a TO-92-3 package. Ideal for battery-powered applications.
The ONSEMI LDO Fixed Voltage Regulator is a micropower low dropout device supplied in a 3-pin TO-92 package. Specifically designed to maintain proper regulation with an extremely low input-to-output voltage differential, it is ideally suited for battery-powered applications where power efficiency is critical.
This regulator features a very low quiescent bias current of 75µA and is capable of supplying output currents in excess of 100mA. It provides a fixed output voltage of 5V with an initial output voltage tolerance of 0.5%. The device requires only a 1µF output capacitor for stability, simplifying circuit design and reducing the overall component count.
Key Features and Performance
Designed for through-hole mounting, this positive polarity voltage regulator accepts an input voltage ranging from 6V to 30V. Its robust specifications and low power consumption make it an excellent choice for power management in industrial and consumer electronics.
