ONSEMI Schottky Rectifier 40V 1A DO-41

The ONSEMI Schottky Rectifier is an axial-lead device housed in an epoxy moulded case. This component employs the Schottky barrier principle within a large area metal-to-silicon power diode, ensuring reliable and efficient performance for various electronic circuits.

Featuring state-of-the-art geometry, this rectifier includes a chrome barrier metal, epitaxial construction with oxide passivation, and a metal overlap contact. It offers an extremely low forward voltage, low stored charge, and majority carrier conduction. This results in low power loss and high efficiency, making it a practical choice for demanding applications. All external surfaces are corrosion-resistant, ensuring durability in diverse environments, and the cathode is clearly indicated by a polarity band for straightforward installation.

Applications

Ideally suited for use as a rectifier in low-voltage, high-frequency inverters, as well as serving as a free-wheeling diode and polarity protection diode in power management and industrial systems.
