ESD-safe PA612 filament with carbon fibre. High temp resistance, 1.75mm, 0.5kg spool. Ideal for electronics.
Developed by Polymaker, the Fiberon™ PA612-ESD Filament is a long-chain copolyamide (PA612) reinforced with carbon nanotubes (CNT) and 10% carbon fibre, specifically engineered for ESD safety. This makes it the ideal choice for protecting sensitive electronic components from static discharge, such as PCBs and electronic enclosures.
With excellent tensile strength and dimensional accuracy, this filament can withstand high temperatures, achieving a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of up to 157°C @ 0.45MPa. It supports printing speeds up to 300mm/s, allowing for efficient and precise prints. The recommended printing temperature is 280°C to 300°C, with a bed temperature of 40°C to 50°C.
Supplied on a cardboard spool, this 0.5kg filament is vacuum-sealed to keep it dry, tangle-free, and fully compatible with AMS systems for smooth and uninterrupted printing. Please note that due to the abrasive carbon fibre content, a wear-resistant nozzle (such as hardened steel or ruby) is highly recommended to prevent frequent brass nozzle abrasion. The filament is sensitive to moisture and should be stored and used in dry conditions (relative humidity below 20%).
