The PRO POWER 5.2mm UTP CCA Network Cable is an economy-grade solution designed for standard data networking tasks over short to medium distances. Constructed with Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors, this cable offers a cost-effective alternative to pure copper cables for non-critical installations where budget is a primary concern.

This unscreened (UTP) cable features a grey PVC and polyester jacket, providing basic durability and flexibility for routing through office conduits, under carpets, or within ceiling voids. Its solid core construction (25AWG) is suitable for permanent, in-wall installations where the cable will not be subject to frequent movement or bending.

Important Usage Note

It is crucial to be aware that this cable utilises CCA conductors and is not recommended for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The use of aluminium can lead to increased resistance and potential overheating under the electrical load required by PoE devices, posing a safety risk. For any installation involving PoE, such as security cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points, a cable with pure copper conductors is essential.

With an impedance of 100±15Ω, this cable is categorised under CPR Class Eca, indicating its reaction to fire performance for use in building infrastructure. It is supplied on a convenient 100-metre reel, making it ideal for installing multiple runs or for use as a bulk supply for larger projects.
