The RF Solutions GAMMA-868R is an advanced 868MHz RF telemetry module designed for robust industrial remote control and data communication. Utilising cutting-edge LoRa (Long Range) technology, it provides a highly reliable transceiver platform, perfect for use as a radio modem or a bi-directional switch. This smart module is engineered for long-range, low data-rate applications, making it ideally suited for remote sensors that transmit occasional data packets. Its standout feature is an impressive operational range of up to 16 kilometres (10 miles), achieved through the latest OFDM spread spectrum technology and sophisticated algorithm enhancements.

Ease of integration is a key benefit, with the module offering direct no-volt switch inputs and direct switching telemetry outputs, alongside serial data in and out. This allows for straightforward implementation without the need for complex external components. It supports low-speed serial data transmission with a payload capacity of 250 bytes, providing flexible communication for various monitoring and control tasks. The module's design supports the creation of both simple and complex networks, as two or more units can be combined to form an extensive system of radio controls and modems.

Built for resilience, the GAMMA-868R operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, ensuring performance in harsh environmental conditions. It features 8 digital switch inputs and 8 digital outputs, with 4 acknowledged channels for reliable communication. The module requires a VCC supply voltage from 3.6V to 15V and communicates with a host at 38.4K baud. With a maximum transmitter output power of 20dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -137dBm, it guarantees strong and clear signal transmission over its extended range. The module is available with an SMAF connector for antenna connection and is designed to be FCC compliant.
