Semtech µClamp Unidirectional TVS Diode 3.3V SOD-323 2-Pin

This Semtech µClamp™ Unidirectional TVS Diode is a 2-pin transient voltage suppressor designed to replace multilayer varistors (MLVs) in portable applications. It offers superior electrical characteristics, including a lower clamping voltage and no device degradation when compared to MLVs.

Designed to protect sensitive semiconductor components from damage or upset, this diode provides robust defence against electrostatic discharge (ESD), lightning, electrical fast transients (EFT), and cable discharge events (CDE). It is constructed using Semtech's proprietary EPD process technology, which provides low standoff voltages with significant reductions in leakage currents and capacitance over standard silicon-avalanche diode processes.

Featuring a true operating voltage of 3.3V, it delivers superior protection compared to traditional pn junction devices. It gives designers the flexibility to protect a single line in applications where an array is not practical.
