Step-down monolithic power switching regulator IC by STMicroelectronics. Adjustable 1.2-35V output, 1A max current, SOIC-8 package.
The STMicroelectronics SMD Buck Regulator is a step-down monolithic power switching regulator IC designed to deliver up to 1A at output voltages ranging from 1.2V to 35V. This device utilises an internal P-channel D-MOS transistor with a typical on-resistance of 250mΩ as the switching element, effectively minimising the size of the external components required for your circuit design.
Featuring pulse-by-pulse current limit combined with internal frequency modulation, the regulator offers highly effective constant current short circuit protection. It supports a wide operating input voltage from 4.4V to 36V, making it suitable for various power management applications.
Key Features
This surface mount device comes in an SOIC-8 package with a moisture sensitivity level of MSL 3 (168 hours). It operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 150°C. The compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth make it highly suitable for space-constrained electronic assemblies.
