The Stokoderm Skin Protect Barrier Cream is formulated for use in a wide range of working environments where there is light to moderate exposure to water and non-water based substances. It dries quickly, leaving a pleasant, non-tacky protective film on the skin that encourages regular use and does not affect dexterity when using hand-held tools.

Advanced Formulation

This barrier cream incorporates several highly effective ingredients:

• Xanthan Gum: A highly effective polymer used to stabilise the protective film provided by the product when applied to the skin.
• Kaolin: A natural mineral which sits in the skin pores to help prevent them from becoming blocked by oil-based substances.
• Glycerin: Enhances the water-holding capacity of the skin’s upper layers, supporting the skin’s own moisture system and natural barrier function.

Workplace Compatibility

When used as directed in food production and preparation areas, this cream does not influence the quality of foodstuffs or present any risk to health. It is proven to be compatible with latex, vinyl, and nitrile gloves. Furthermore, it is completely perfume-free, making it ideal for users with sensitivities, and silicone-free, ensuring it has no adverse effect on surfaces prior to the application of paint or surface coatings. It has been independently tested at the German Institute of Rubber Technology (DIK) and proven to have no negative effect on the vulcanisation process.
