The TDK B722 Standard series round shaped radial leaded SIOV metal oxide varistor (MOV) offers reliable protection against excessive transient voltages. With a wide operating voltage range from 11V RMS to 1100V RMS, this varistor is designed for use as a control or compensation element in electrical circuits.
The voltage-dependent characteristics of this varistor enable it to effectively clamp high transient voltage spikes, safeguarding sensitive components. It features high surge current ratings up to 8 kA peak and a peak energy range from 0.3J to 410J, making it suitable for demanding industrial and safety applications.
This component is approved to UL, CSA, VDE, CQC (S05/07, S10/S14, S20) and IEC standards, ensuring compliance with international safety regulations.
