The TDK Epcos B722 StandarD series round shaped radial leaded metal oxide varistors (MOV) offer reliable protection and control for electronic circuits. Designed with a wide operating voltage range, these SIOV varistors serve as effective control or compensation elements, ensuring optimal operating conditions or safeguarding against excessive transient voltages.

Featuring voltage-dependent characteristics, the B722 series provides robust defence against high transient voltage spikes. With high surge current ratings up to 8kA and a peak energy range from 0.3J to 410J across the series, this specific varistor handles a peak energy of 700mJ and a peak surge current of 100A at 8/20µs.
