TE Connectivity PolySwitch SMD resettable fuse, 750mA, 13.2V, 1812 case. Fast tripping, reliable overcurrent protection.
The TE Connectivity PolySwitch miniSMDC is a surface mount resettable fuse designed to provide reliable overcurrent protection in a compact 1812 (4532 metric) package. With a holding current of 750mA and a trip current of 1.5A, this PPTC device safeguards sensitive electronic circuits from excessive current events, automatically resetting once the fault is cleared and power is removed.
This resettable fuse operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. It can handle a maximum current of 100A during fault conditions, ensuring robust performance when needed. The fast time-to-trip of 0.2s provides quick protection, minimising the risk of damage to downstream components.
The 1812 surface mount format is ideal for automated assembly and space-constrained PCB layouts. As part of the PolySwitch miniSMDC series, it delivers consistent and dependable circuit protection, reducing the need for fuse replacements and improving product reliability.
