Timco Collated Timber to Metal Screws, Countersunk, Wing-Tip, 4.8 x 44mm (1000p
Timco collated screws for timber-to-metal, 4.8x44mm, winged self-drilling tip, 1000 pieces.
The Timco Collated Timber to Light Section Screws are specifically designed for attaching wood to metal, with a maximum drilling thickness of 4.0mm. These screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread and winged tip that reams out the timber, allowing the screw to achieve maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings hit the metal, they break off, permitting the thread to self-tap into the metal seamlessly.
These screws boast an exterior plating that provides high corrosion resistance, making them ideal for outdoor use. The collated strips are compatible with all leading power tool brands, ensuring versatility and ease of use. The self-countersinking ribs allow for a flush finish, while the 60˚ self-tapping thread ensures excellent holding power and rapid insertion.
Manufactured from case and core hardened carbon steel, these screws are built for durability and strength. Whether you're working on fencing, decking, or any other timber-to-metal application, these screws are designed to deliver reliable performance.
