Timco Wedge Pattern Casement Fastener
Reversible Timco wedge casement fastener in satin aluminium. Secures wooden windows, includes fixings. Ideal for homes & renovations.
The Timco Wedge Pattern Casement Fastener is a robust and practical solution for securing traditional wooden windows in a fully closed position. Designed with a classic wedge shape, this fitting works by allowing the handle to close securely over a fixed wedge plate attached to the window frame, creating a simple yet effective locking action. This ensures windows are held firmly shut, improving security, preventing rattling in the wind, and helping to maintain a draught-free environment.
Manufactured from high-quality satin anodised aluminium, the fastener offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for use in all weather conditions. The satin finish provides a modern, attractive appearance that complements both new and period-style windows. A key feature is its reversible design, allowing for flexible installation to suit either left-handed or right-handed window openings, which simplifies ordering and installation for contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike.
This window fastener is supplied as a complete kit with all necessary fixings included, ensuring you have everything needed for a straightforward installation. Its dimensions are precisely engineered for a secure fit, providing a reliable and durable fastening solution that will perform reliably for years to come.
