Miniaturised Vishay IR receiver module with 38kHz carrier frequency. Ideal for remote control systems with 45m transmission range.
The Vishay IR Receiver Photodiode is a miniaturised infrared receiver module designed for remote control systems. It integrates a PIN diode and a preamplifier assembled on a lead frame, all housed within an epoxy package that features a built-in IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for straightforward decoding, making it highly efficient for various electronic applications.
This module is optimised to suppress almost all spurious pulses from energy-saving lamps, such as CFLs, although the integrated Automatic Gain Control (AGC4) may suppress some data signals. It offers improved shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and enhanced immunity against ambient light, ensuring reliable performance in diverse environments.
