The WEEN SEMICONDUCTORS BT134 Series D Triac is a planar passivated, very sensitive gate four-quadrant triac in a compact SOT-82 plastic package. Designed for general-purpose bidirectional switching and phase control, this triac is ideal for applications where high sensitivity is required across all four quadrants. Its very sensitive gate allows direct interfacing to microcontrollers, logic integrated circuits, and other low-power gate trigger circuits, simplifying your design and reducing component count.
This 'Series D' triac offers a high blocking voltage capability of 600V and a low holding current, making it suitable for low-current loads and ensuring the lowest EMI at commutation. The planar passivated construction provides voltage ruggedness and reliability, while triggering in all four quadrants offers design flexibility.
