This WIMA MKP4 Series Power Film Capacitor features a metallised polypropylene (PP) dielectric, designed specifically for high-frequency applications. Built with radial leads in a 2-pin box format, it offers reliable through-hole mounting for your electronic circuits.

Engineered for performance, this capacitor boasts a high volume to capacitance ratio and excellent self-healing properties. It exhibits a very low dissipation factor, negative capacitance change versus temperature, and very low dielectric absorption. The construction includes vacuum-deposited capacitor electrodes and tinned wire terminations for secure and stable connections.

Encapsulated in a solvent-resistant and flame-retardant UL94V-0 plastic case with an epoxy resin seal, it ensures durability and safety in demanding environments. With a capacitance of 4.7µF and a tolerance of ±10%, it operates efficiently with a DC voltage rating of 630V and an AC voltage rating of 280V.
