The **ALLIED MOTION PREMOTEC CL Series 12V Coreless DC Motor** is engineered to deliver maximised performance in compact, demanding applications. Part of the high-performance CL series, this motor utilises advanced permanent magnets, a uniquely wound coreless rotor, and a precious-metal commutation system to achieve exceptional efficiency and responsiveness.

Its coreless rotor design eliminates iron loss entirely, resulting in significantly higher efficiency compared to traditional iron-core motors. A key benefit is the complete absence of cogging (no preferred rotor position), ensuring exceptionally smooth, cog-free operation with minimal torque ripple. The low-inertia rotor allows for rapid acceleration and deceleration, providing swift response times ideal for precise control systems.

The integration of a precious-metal commutation system ensures reliable performance with a low starting voltage, enhancing overall energy efficiency and operational reliability. The high-strength magnets are optimised to maximise power output and torque within the motor's compact 29mm diameter frame.
