Argon NEO 5 M.2 NVMe Case for Raspberry Pi 5, Black

The Argon NEO 5 M.2 NVMe Case merges premium protection for your Raspberry Pi 5 with high-speed NVMe storage expansion. Constructed from space-grade aluminium alloy with distinctive red accents, this case offers a sleek and robust desktop presence. It is specifically engineered to meet the thermal and performance demands of the Pi 5, integrating a sophisticated cooling system for optimal operation.

At its core, the case provides dedicated support for M.2 NVMe drives, transforming your Pi into a powerhouse for lightning-fast boot times, rapid application loading, and expansive external storage for media libraries or game files. The NVMe base connects directly via the board's PCI-Express connector, ensuring maximum data transfer speeds, supported by a high-quality, impedance-controlled Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) cable for consistent performance.

Thermal management is a key highlight. The enclosure features a built-in 30mm PWM fan for active cooling, which intelligently adjusts its speed and can switch off entirely during low-load conditions for silent operation. This is complemented by a passive cooling design, utilising the aluminium alloy body with integrated cooling fins and exhaust vents to dissipate heat effectively from both the Pi 5 and the installed SSD.

Key features include:

• M.2 NVMe Support: Accommodates any M.2 NVMe drive with an M-Key interface up to 2280 size (drive not included).
• Integrated Cooling: Combines an active PWM fan with a passive aluminium heatsink for the SSD and vented case design.
• Premium Build: Made from durable, space-grade aluminium alloy.
• Full Accessibility: Provides complete access to all Raspberry Pi 5 ports and connections.
• Convenient Design: Features a built-in power button and a screw-on top cover to protect the GPIO header and ports when not in use.
• Compact Form: Its small footprint allows for easy placement,<
